Objectives:
- To increase, through regular school teaching and other school out-of-curriculum activities to be held in the course of the project, awareness of the students, management and teachers in the 3 target primary schools in Tuzla, and of the relevant stakeholders, and level of their information on principles of sustainable development in sphere of water management, rights and obligations of all the project participants in accordance with the Law on Water, and on effective and practical methods and opportunities for saving water in school buildings, for which smaller or larger financial investments are or are not required
- To initiate process of passing relevant policy documents that clearly define obligations related to implementation, financing and overseeing preventive, systematic, and transparent monitoring of hygienic and health correctness of drinking water at the tap inside the premises of all public buildings in the area of the Tuzla Canton, by opening constructive dialogue among all the relevant stakeholders and decision-makers on all aspects of this sphere, based on the situation in the three target schools, with participation of general public.
Activities:
- Kick-off meeting of all the project stakeholders and selection of the three primary schools in Tuzla;
- Kick-off meeting with management of the three target schools with the aim to introduce them to the project. Appoint consultant to produce elaborate on measures of water savings, based on the Law on Water of the Federation BiH;
- Production of the ELABORATE 1 (regarding water consumption) based on the situation in the three target schools – Activities in this segment will be focused on creation of elaborate and measurements for saving water, on the example of the three primary schools which will be selected in the Tuzla. This document will serve as a starting point and operational framework for series of theoretical and practical educational activities related to different aspects of rational consumption of water;
- Presentation of the measurements results to the management/directors of the three schools and giving recommendations (based in elaborate) for rational consumption of water in future;
- Informing students of the three schools, through regular teaching, on importance of water and practical methods of savings (emphasizing terms of the Law);
- Organizing excursions of the students of the three schools /visiting key points of the Tuzla water-supply system;
- Creative activities of students in out-of- school curricula; exhibitions of the products, selection of the best works and providing awards to the best students;
- Media coverage of the project activities;
- Presentation of this problem to all the project stakeholders;
- Production of ELABORATE 2 ( regarding water quality) based on testing quality of water in the three schools, following terms of the Law on Waters and other relevant laws and regulations;
- Elaborate the forum of all the project stakeholders;
- Presentation of results and recommendations of the decision makers;
- Monitoring of further activities of the decision makers.

- Number and profile of primary /secondary /tertiary beneficiaries targeted by the project;
- Quality of both documents and their applicability in other schools and other types of public buildings;
